Withdrawals and ads refreshing
Hello.
If anyone has tried to purchase something the last week or so, you may already know that our PayPal account has been locked.
After a couple of emails exchanged with PayPal support without any explanation as to why it was locked, I gave them a call last Tuesday.
Phone support is actually as terrible as e-mail support, I had a 20 minute conversation (well, actually half of it I was put on hold listening to classic music while the guy tried to reaserch something about the case) with some random staff that, once again, had no clue as to why the account was locked and the funds frozen. The best reply I got at the end was that our kind of business (PTC) is not allowed by PayPal. Weird, right?
As I seeked further explanation, the person talking to me ultimately told me that someone with more responsibility in the company would give me a call within the next 72h. That would be until Friday afternoon. Until now I'm waiting, and I'll have to call them again tomorrow.
I am once again really pissed at PayPal. They not only lock accounts without any notice but both their email support and phone support people have no idea as to why this is happening or how to prevent this.
In another note, you may have noticed the ads are not refreshing the last couple of days. This was planned, and I must apologize for not telling you upfront, but I was waiting for the PayPal call that never came. I stopped the ad refreshing because I must clear the PayPal situation first. If at the end I'm unable to have PayPal on a PTC, I must change the whole earning system. PayPal is by far the top processor for purchases and withdrawals, and if we stop receiving payments via PayPal we'll be completely unable to continue with the 1cent/click system, that's why I can't let you earn more at the moment.
A mass e-mail will be sent to all members when this situation is clarified.
All topics about these two issues have been deleted, as there was no question there that wasn't answered here.
Meanwhile, I may need your help to try to solve the situation with PayPal. If I do, I'll let you know.
